Lent…

Lent is here again, time for me to be a catholic. Sad to say this is probably the most “catholic” time of the year for me, the only part that i really feel like participating in. Why? because lent is about sacrifice, making do with what you have, and thanksgiving for the things that are in your life. Its a time of reflection and forgiveness..

This year for lent i have decided to give up a couple things, and.. as a new thing, i decided to pick something up. I have declaired that i will give up porn..(considering i got a 505 on the Kinky test.. http://www.hotlanta.com/kinktest.htm thats not such an easy thing…) Yeah.. so no downloading porn, no watching porn.. no checking out my latest issue of playboy (which has gotten quite boring anyways.. so its no big deal). Other than that, i dont know what else i could give up. I could possibly give up videogames, but considering that i dont play that much; its not really that meaningful. Same as soda; the occasional can every week or so is nothing. Its sad really that i feel that i have so little vices in the first place that i struggle to find what i can sacrifice this season… heh.

So thats what lead me to a new vision.. instead of giving up on something i hold dear, i will try to pick up something that ive been avoiding. So i’ve decided to start going back to the gym. Now.. why ahve i been avoiding? i really dont know.. my lazy has has just kept me away.. but for Lent (and hopefully longer) i will goto the gym at least twice a week.. hopefully on the “T” days..
